Wicker Weaving

Wicker weaving is an ancient art practiced by nomads from long ago. Nomads collect fresh almond branches from the surrounding mountains and weave them together. All the patterns are created by heart and the outcome, as you can see, is absolutely fascinating. In the colder seasons, nomads settle in their cozy, winter pastures and begin creating authentic handicrafts. As a part of our social mission, we support nomadic community to preserve this invaluable, practical cultural heritage.
